Children's Express- This site is produced and written by kids from around the world, with the aim of providing for their peers a forum in which to learn about the issues that affect them.
KidsNet- KIDSNET helps children, families and educators intelligently access the educational opportunities available from television, radio and multimedia sources. Teachers can discover additional resources available to support specific television, radio and multimedia; design lessons that incorporate relevant programs that meet curriculum objectives as well as contribute to informal learning opportunities.
Highwired- Here high school journalism students can post school newspapers. This site is complete with lessons and all of the information needed to produce a school newspaper. Everything teachers and students require is on the web site. Even if they have no Internet experience, they can learn Highwired in less than 10 minutes.
On2-Online Newshour for Students- Catch the latest reports from student sources here. This site contains lots of topics, covering everything from high fashion to natural disasters. Students and teachers are encouraged to contribute editorials and ideas.

Cereally Speaking- This ten lesson, cross-curricular unit gives the students real life experiences with how price, prizes, the Internet, jingles, characters, packaging, and commercials can all work together to influence product choices.
Adcracker.com- Designed for advertising developers, this site is a wonderful place to teach high school advertising or to teach how advertising affects our behavior. Find some great ideas for all classroom levels here, too.
Ad Dissection 101- In Webquest format, this project engages high school students in analysis of TV advertising.
Does It Work: Archives- You've seen the ads on TV promoting some fantastic new product, but it sounds too good to be true. This site puts the products to the test. Use with consumer education units; it is great.
